I am Mary - 29 - She/Her
I was born in Colorado Springs, CO. I’ve been drawing since my earliest memories, and was fortunate enough to begin my apprenticeship the day I turned 18. I have been tattooing professionally since 2016 and took a couple years away from the industry from 2020 through 2021. I started working at Auspicious Tattoo in Boulder in October of 2021 and in January of 2024, I inherited ownership of the same shop. I love this career, as it gives me an immense amount of freedom to not only make art in unique ways, but to also connect with other human beings in an environment that is nurturing and safe. The whole experience of tattooing has been an incredibly valuable influence in my life. I have learned and understood more than I could have anticipated through this practice, and feel it’s something I will always remain connected to. It is without a doubt, my purpose.
I constantly want to be moving and doing, discovering and experiencing. I have many interests and have a drive to learn and expand. Some of the things I’m drawn to include philosophy, psychology, camping, riding my motorcycle, live music, tarot, gaming, tattooing & art, health & wellness, longboarding, hiking, nature, traveling & exploring, polaroid photography, anime, movies, storytelling, and business.
